My Casual Colour Pop Outfit For Autumn (And Where To Shop To Create This Look)

Hello my pretty petals,

Hope you’re all well!

I thought I’d do a quick outfit post today on the casual go-to items I’m reaching for at the moment. As we’re currently having such odd, unpredictable weather here in the UK, it’s hard to know what to wear (which I absolutely hate)! I love planning a good outfit to look forward to, so to wake up not having a clue what I’m wearing that day (as we have no idea what the weather is doing), is very stressful! Just me? Probably, haha!

Anyway I’ve been finding myself opting for a lightweight knit, jeans and slip on backless mules as my causal go-to over the last couple weeks – I feel like it’s an outfit you can get away with wearing when it’s sunny or cloudy, rainy or dry. That way you can just pop a brolly in your bag so if it does decide to chuck it down, (which let’s be honest, is a strong possibility in England) you’re prepared!

I’m also in love with bright splashes of colour at the moment to jazz up a simple outfit! Although it’s autumn and may be dark and dreary out, colour is always needed to spice things up a bit and to be honest I actually think it’s the most colourful season! What with orange and yellow leaves sprinkled everywhere and the sparkly festivities of Christmas on the way – yes PLEASE!

So anyway I’ve done a good ol’ browsing session online to hunt down lookalikes to my outfit pieces and also the links to most of the items I’m wearing (my bag is from River Island’s winter season last year, but I’ve found a couple lookalikes for you).
