October Favourites

Hello lil’ pumpkins! And welcome to my October Faves post! ♥ Autumn is officially in full swing and I am bloody lovin’ it! Anyone else just love everything that October entails- colourful crunchy leaves, hot chocolate and marshmallows, bobble hats and scarves- ITS THE BEST!

Anyway I’ve got quite a few favourites this month so I will try and keep it short and sweet- hope you enjoy! Happy October!

Beauty Bay EYN ‘Fiery Palette‘ – now if this doesn’t scream Pumpkin Spice – I don’t know what does! This is my favourite palette of the season- I mean can you get any more autumnal?!

Jo Malone Cologne ‘Peony and Blush Suede’

So the palette is available to purchase on Beauty Bay and if I remember correctly, it does actually come in a smaller size with 9 shades instead of 16 – so perhaps if you just wanted to test it out- that would be your go-to!

The palette consists of 16 shades, a combination of matte and shimmer and for under £20- this is a selection of the most pigmented eyeshadows I’ve ever experienced! They are super soft and velvety and last all day long- seriously I’m pretty addicted at this point!

There’s an autumnal variety of burnt oranges, berry burgundies and golden bronzes so you can create endless looks – daytime and evening – with as much or as little intensity as you like! As the quality is so good, they’re easily blendable (which is what everyone needs in an eyeshadow palette, let’s be honest).

I personally like to use the caramel oranges for everyday wear just to add a bit of density to the eye area and overall warm up my makeup look (for eg. Caramel Sauce and/or Hot Sauce either blended lightly all over my lid or just in the outer creases). For evenings out or even just the weekend, I like to play around with the more playful colours such as Ruby Slippers, New Penny and Sunstone (which are great night-time shades btw!)

So overall this is definitely the best palette purchase I’ve made in a long time plus I know it’ll see me right through to the new year! For £11.50, it’s so worth it and even if this isn’t really something you fancy yourself, it’s a pretty good gift idea for fellow makeup lovers!

Personal favourites: ‘Hot Sauce’, ‘Ruby Slippers’, ‘Burnt Sienna, ‘Caramel Sauce’ and ‘Brisk’

Revolution ‘Bronzer Reloaded in Take A Vacation’ and Liquid Highligher in ‘Lustre Gold’

Affordable, long lasting and perfect for the upcoming party season; this gold highlighter gives a beautiful shimmery sheen and the bronzer is natural enough to wear every day for a lovely glow!

Benefit ‘Posietint’

The prettiest pop of pink! Definitely my new favourite alternative to full on lipstick

Primark PS Liquid Matte Lipstick in ‘Desire’ and Revolution Matte Lipstick in ‘Gone Rogue’

My two favourite lip colours for autumn! I’m loving cooler nudes at the moment as opposed to my more favoured warm mauvey nudes – I just think they’re really flattering for most (if not all) skin tones! They’re also very well suited to this time of year for a more vampy, Halloweeny vibe!

bBold Contour Kit

Huge fan of this palette! Complete with a contour, bronze and highlight, it’s a handy kit to shape and warm up your face! The pigment is so intense and creamy and blends easily into the skin- however do be wary of the contour shade (I went a little heavy handed the first time I tried and I looked very muddy it has to be said)!

Jouer Lip Enhancer Shine Balm in ‘Dahlia’

This is a super nourishing, lip balm with a shiny but subtle plum tint! (It’s not just pretty packaging either- it really does give you super soft lips and is full of lots of good ingredients that provide lasting hydration)!

My Accessories of The Month

Headband (Primark)

Gold Hoops, Leopard Watch and ‘C’ Necklace (all Asos)

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed lovelies!
