Hello my festive beauties! Welcome to my November Favourites! I’ve got quite a few beauty products to get through so Ima keep this short and sweet for your sake haha – I hope you enjoy! ♥
Revolution Pro Skin Finish Bronzer in ‘Warm Glow’
Okay so this is possibly my favourite drugstore bronzer EVER guys! It’s so so pigmented and gives the most loveliest bronze to your skin – plus it has such a pretty built in highlighter! (Yes, built in)! There are golden specks baked inside the bronzer so it gives you a golden ethereal glow all over! It’s unreal – specially as it’s less that a fiver! I’d say this shade would probably suit medium-deep skin tones best, but don’t worry there are a few other shades to pick from so there will be one just for you!
Loreal Infallible Longwear Lipliner in ‘105 Red Fiction’ and Matte Lip Paint in ‘205 Apocalypse Red’
Personally I think these two products work perfectly to give that Christmassy feel to any makeup look/outfit! I love a deep burgundy red for this time of year and can’t wait to wear these to death! The matte paint is super comfortable on the lips which I love in a matte lipstick (no horrible cracking and splitting going on) and the liner is really creamy and glides easily to shape the lips!
Revolution Highlighter Reloaded in ‘Dare to Divulge’
I love this champagne gold highlighter for a good bit of shimmer on a night out! It’s such an intense powder that you don’t need a lot at all – I actually love using this on my eyes too!
Revolution Jelly Highlighter in ‘Prestigious’
As this is a bouncy jelly like consistency, it gives a super intense strobe – like highlight for your cheekbones that I personally think is best suited for your Christmas party over a day look! I think if used sparingly you could get away with this for a natural shimmer however, I would prefer to use this for a festive night time glow!
I ♥ Revolution Metallic Anel Heart Lipgloss in ‘Cherub’
Another product I wouldn’t necessarily wear in the day, but a fabulous lip product for the evening- this lipgloss is sooo pretty! It’s a comfortable wearing metallic gloss that gives a rosy pink shimmer to your pout!
B. Gentle Lip Scrub
This is such a good exfoliating yet gentle sugar scrub! It comes in a handy lipstick- style tube which is so easy to use and to carry around with you! It easily gets rid of any dry, flaky skin and tastes pretty good too tbh! (Plus I believe it’s under £5)
This is my little lip go-to for those days when I don’t want full on lippy! It’s a really lovely Christmassy red too so it’s perfect for the upcoming festivities!
NYX Slide On Lip Liners in ‘ Nude Suede Shoes’ and ‘ Intimidate’
NYX is my favouriteee brand for lipliners- so so comfortable to wear and easy to use! I also find that their nude shades are the best- I haven’t ever found anything quite like Nude Suede Shoes! It’s the loveliest pink-nude that I wear to line and fill my lips with (that’s how creamy they are)!
Primark PS Demi Matte Cream Lipstick in ‘Chocolate’
This is my favourite lipstick I’ve ever had from Primark! For a few pounds, you can’t complain about the quality of this lippy – it’s really soft and comfortable to wear and the colour is a really lovely warm brown nude which I think is gorgeous for the festive season.
The Ordinary Lactic Acid
This is a mild lactic acid that has a superficial peeling formulation (sounds savage but it’s surprisingly gentle)! It contains AHA and Hyaluronic Acid and can be used in the AM and PM (I personally use just before bed). This serum is specifically made to target uneven skin tone, textural irregularities and fine lines and I’ve really noticed the difference in my skin! I’ve been using it nearly 2 months now and have noticed that the marks/scars from spots and blemishes have began to clear and dissipate to virtually nothing! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from scarring – it’s made such an improvement!
Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner
Now I’ve loved and used Mario’s Drying Lotion for years now, so when I was recommended this toner by a friend, I was rather intrigued to branch out and try a different product from the brand. I’ll admit the word ‘Glycolic Acid’ has kind of terrified me in the past, so I’ve steered well away from anything containing it – however this is a game changer! It’s a really lovely resurfacing toner that doesn’t even smell acidic! It brightens and balances skin post-cleanse and contains Grapefruit and Aloe, refining pores and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and uneven skin tone. And it really does bloody work! I’ve also noticed that my skin is actually much clearer as well – my blemishes have definitely reduced and any redness has calmed right down too!
H&M Curated Eye Quad ‘Nice Mauves’
Oh my gosh, now I love this little eyeshadow quad from H&M so much – how blinkin’ adorable is it?! I believe it was around £8/9 so not too bad for the quality and the pigment is so creamy and blendable that it’s definitely not a waste in my opinion! It contains a pretty white shimmer, a subtle lilac, a deep purply brown and a more intense plum. The shades would be really lovely used alone but personally I like to use them all together to create a glam smokey eye – (that I’m sure would be pretty damn perfect for your Christmas party if I do say so myself)! 😉 I like to also use H&M’s ‘Soft Kajal Eye Pencil in Black Violet’ to intensify the look and define the eye a bit more.
And those are all my November favourites done! I hope you enjoyed this post my festive chums – can’t wait to post all my Xmas content for you! So until December!
